We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hello friends, family and aquaintances.....

Our team is attempting to cross the English Channel in our inflatable kayaks one day of either the weekend of 14th or 21st of April this year, dependent on weather.  We are doing this because it sounds difficult/ridiculous and we thought this would mean people would donate more money to this excellent cause.

You may already know why we are doing this.  One of our closest friends Lucy has recently been told, at 32yrs of age,  that her cancer is not curable.  This is after spending most of last year having intensive treatment.  She has had awful luck, but has been phenomenal at making the best of things.

She has been extremely grateful for the support offered by the Manorlands Hospice, run by the Sue Ryder charity.  We would be grateful if you could dig deep and help us support this great cause.

For those of you who know about Lucy's Wish Fund and would prefer to donate to this, please see Facebook or email denise@pennineplaygrounds.co.uk

Thanks

The Cross Channel Team
