Story
A few years ago now we decided to challenge ourselves to the epic challenge of kayaking 75 miles to raise money for The National Autistic Society. This has been pushed back many times now thanks to Covid 19. At the beginning of this the inspiration was Callum's eldest son (Angus). He had begun his journey of being diagnosed with autism and getting the help he needed to support him throughout his life to live the best life he can. Since then he has been diagnosed with autism and got the help he needs with an EHC plan to support him throughout his development and he even has a placement in a SEN School. Also his little brother (Oscar) has got a diagnosis of ASD aswell and we are currently working on getting him the help he needs. None of this would've been possible without charities like The National Autistic Society and we hope to raise as much money for them to thank them for their continued efforts to help people living with ASD.
We are now carrying out this challenge on the weekend on the 27th May 2022 and it will take us 3 days to complete it. we will be sleeping rough at the side of the canal throughout just to make it that bit harder for ourselves.
Please give what you can and from all of the team THANK YOU!
