C19 Update: Well this year I was trying to plan paddling most of the length of Ireland but I think it very likely that C19 has stopped that idea! But you never know! Watch this space on that!! If I can go to Ireland then the overall target will increase to 6,000 km of legally navigable (by inflatable kayak) waterways!

The challenge is to paddle at least 5,000 km around various waterways! In 2013 I did 240 km, in 2014 I did 505 km across southern France (from one side to the other!) In 2015 I did 500 km, in 2016 it was the biggie, 1,185 km (that's 27 full marathons back to back with my arms whilst sat on my bum!) and in 2017 I did 420 km.   2018 paddled 490 km starting at Tewitfield at the head of the Lancaster canal & ending at Atherstone. This year its 620 km starting at Ripon & ending near Lichfield.

That will bring my total so far to 3,765 (ish) km of paddling!
