Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Just THREE weeks to go and I’m so close to reaching my target...

Training is going well and I’m in no doubt I’ll cross the finish line at Pegasus Beach within the time frame allowed...

Many many thanks to everyone who has supported me on this... I am grateful beyond belief.. xx

UPDATE: I just wanted to say a massive thank you to every who has donated so far. I am 25% there... not bad for just a couple of weeks and watch this space for a couple of fun fundraising events that are planned!!

I’m well into training and even on these cold wet days am to be found walking the lanes and countryside around me to get the miles up!!

Thanks again X Kay

On the 6/6/1944 my father driving an American DUCW landed on Sword Beach as part of the D-Day landings.

He never talked about his role in D-Day and most of the information we have was gleaned after his death.

This is a tribute to him and all the forces on that day.

Blind Verterans UK are an organisation close to my heart, my daughter worked for them at their Brighton center got several years and they have helped a good friends father who is almost blind in so many ways.

This seems a good moment to give something back to those men and women who have served their country and who continue to do so today.
