Story
In support of Mental Health Awareness week, which is 14th-20th May, I have decided to set myself the challenge of running a total of 75 miles over the month of May. This includes taking part in the Liverpool Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon on 20th May, which will be a fantastic end to Mental Health Awareness week, but will also push me to continue running for the rest of the month once that event is over! (As many runners will know, this is often a period darkness where you are struggling to find structure and meaning to your running again).
I aim to start a blog on the 1st May to share my story, raise awareness, and show how running has helped me with my mental health issues since I signed up to a local Couch to 5K in April 2014. Once it's up and running (sorry for the pun) I'll share the link...
