Story
This year I'm swapping the ball gown for running shoes and will be taking on the my first marathon by running the April 2023 London Marathon in aid of Meningitis Now. Raising both awareness and funds for this charity is very important to me, in 2013 we very suddenly and tragically lost Sarah to meningitis aged just 19 and I'll be running in her memory.
The London Marathon has always been on my bucket list, but as an asthmatic who doesn't enjoy running - I really do need your support to get me over that finish line! Every penny truly counts and I'll forever be grateful for any donation.
Meningitis Now are a fantastic charity who support all those affected by meningitis whether directly or indirectly. There are many misconceptions when it comes to meningitis, so please ensure you take the time to become familiar with the signs and symptoms of meningitis - it could save yours or somebody else's life.
* Header image includes a photo of myself and my best friend Lu running a half marathon back in 2016 (which I found incredibly difficult for reference)! Taking inspiration from Lu who ran the London Marathon in 2021, and Florence who ran in memory of Sarah in 2022 🧡
I’m hoping to raise £2,600 (or more) so it’s £100 for each mile complete 🏃♀️
