Story
Hello and thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
I did it!! What a great experience! - though tougher than I had imagined.
Thanks for all your support and donations; it was a huge motivation for the challenge J And we have raised a great deal for a very worthwhile cause!
If you haven’t got around to donating yet – never fear! Why not make a donation now? JSee Below for further details:
On 16th Sept 2011 I climbed the 3 highest peaks in Scotland,(Ben Nevis 1,344 m), England (Scarfell Pike 978 m) and Wales (Mount Snowdon 1,085 m)..... in 24 hours!
For those who know me well, the reason I have chosen Help for Heroes is self evident; for those who are less familiar, my husband is in the Navy and recently returned from a 6 month tour of Afghanistan.
Any deployment is demanding for all involved. Additionally, since becoming involved in military life, my respect for wounded personnel facing the challenge of rebuilding thier lives has grown. It means a great deal to be able to contribute to a charity who have taken a positive and empowering approach to reduce distress and improve the health of wounded service personnel and thier families.
I have considered which charity was best placed to do this and feel Help For Heroes does a grand job; follow this links if you want to read more:

Thanks ever so much :)
The technical stuff:) Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
Thanks also to Charlotte, Greg and Bernie at Go-Commando for all their help and support! Read more about them and thier work at http://www.go-commando.co.uk/default.phuse
