I'm a pretty spontaneous often foolish, helpful and kind hearted person (most of the time) I've been given an opportunity with ICS Raleigh to be all of them things. I am going with Raleigh to Tanzania for 3 months in September to give the people living in poverty a helping hand... I can listen and maybe put a smile on their face. For most people that's all they need. Hope. 

Volunteers like myself are asked to raise funds to help the organisation continue with the amazing work they do for the local people. I am going to do a few things to raise money but for me, the most daunting is climbing Mount Snowdon. I don't know all the details but it's pretty big!!

This is going to be a challenge, one unlike anything else I've done. If I can manage this much exercise then Bring On Africa.
