CARAS works to build a place of safety and dignity for refugees and asylum seekers in south London. Support services that are available can be impossible to access for those have little or no English, who feel uncomfortable in formal education, are unsure about their rights, lack confidence when finding their way around our area, and have no place to turn in a crisis. Through social activities, English lessons, workshops and individual support, CARAS aims to ensure that no one faces the asylum system alone.
