I'm running the Leeds 10k in memory of my beautiful son Lukas. He was such an inspiration to us all last year during his battle with medullobastoma, an aggressive type of brain tumour.  His illness and intensive treatment both took their toll and made him very poorly, but my little man never gave up. He somehow still found the energy to play with his baby sister violet, he found the will to keep smiling, the determination to climb down from the sofa and play with his train set and always found the strength to fight off the doctors or nurses who were doing something he didn't approve of.
