As many of you know I've always wanted to run the London Marathon and have finally decided to go for it in 2013! Let's hope I make it round the 26.2 miles. My training is well under way and the challenge ahead is very exciting! :) 

What makes this event even more important to me is the very privileged opportunity I have to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. I will be running in loving memory to those lost to cancer and hoping to raise money for a very worthwhile cause. Cancer is a disease that is likely to impact all our lives at some point. I'm sure you all know someone who is either battling with cancer or who has tragically lost their fight. Marie Curie Cancer Care is an extraordinary charity who provides high quality nursing, to those suffering from terminal cancer and other illnesses. They care for patients at home or in one of their nine hospices across the UK, providing support for their families and carers.
