Story
Thank you so much for visiting my page. I'm taking part in the Three Peaks for Gaz 2023, supporting Sarcoma UK in memory of Gaz Emmerson. Gaz was a friend of my partner, and a loving husband to his wife, Zoe. Gaz died at the very young age of 29 from Ewings Sarcoma.
Gaz was the life and soul of every party, and used this energy to be a pioneer in raising money for the Sarcoma Charity, whilst undergoing chemo himself for the same cancer. Gaz cycled over 1000 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats, raising over £100,000 resulting in him being nominated for Pride of Britain.
In honour of this wonderful, driven individual, there will be over 55 of us scaling England, Scotland and Wales' highest peaks in 24 hours, alongside the strongest woman, his wife, Zoe.
Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat.
By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep the specialist Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care. Your donations go so far in helping the sarcoma community:£1 Could cover the cost of 10 texts to the support line.£10Could be used to buy microscope slides to look at cells in minute detail. £30Could fund one hour of use of a high-powered laboratory microscope. £150 Could fund the support line for a week.
Thank you for your support.
