I've always wanted to take on a marathon and kick it's arse, so I've finally signed up to one. And if I'm going to do such a stupid thing I think it's only fair I raise money for charity along the way. I couldn't think of a better charity than cancer research. 

It's something I don't often talk about but after losing my mum nearly 6 years ago to cancer, amongst other things, I think it's time I did my bit and tried to raise as much money as possible in my mums memory. It seems even more fitting as cancer research was one of her charity's too!!
