Story
2023 is the year that our beautiful daughter Zoë would have turned 30 and we are commemorating her life by a year-long series of fund-raising events to raise money for Blood Cancer UK. In August 2019 Zoë suffered a brain haemorrhage brought on by an acute and previously undetected leukemia. She died after 25 days in a coma in intensive care without ever recovering consciousness. Her leukemia might have been treatable but because it was discovered too late she was denied that chance. We passionately believe that early detection of leukemia in whatever form is key to successful outcomes for victims and we are supporting Blood Cancer UK in their efforts towards that goal.
