I am running in a team of 25, all from Home Instead, with one aim in mind, to raise vital funds for Home Instead Charities (HIC). 

Our charity enables local grass roots community groups to support their ageing adults with the specific aim of preventing loneliness and social isolation and to reduce the risk of dementia and depression by keeping ageing adults connected to their communities.

The COVID-19 pandemic has seen may of our ageing adults lonely, isolated and disconnected from family, friends, loved ones and their communities.  The impact on their mental wellbeing has been devastating. We want to get seniors reconnected to improve their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.

We want to raise as much money as we can to enable groups all over the UK to reconnect with their ageing adults and make them smile. To show them that people really care and that they are an important part of an active and supportive community. After all without happiness we're all just existing... Lets give our community elders something to smile about.
