Story
Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love christmas and all that it involves. This year will be a difficult one as my sister Amy will not be there to celebrate with us all. I still want to celebrate and enjoy the festive time as Amy would of done as she loved Christmas too. The biggest thing I can do is try and raise some money for a charity that helped her all the way through her treatment and supported her till the end.
I have choosen not to recieve any christmas gifts this year and would like for anyone that would of purchases a gift for me or Amy, no matter how small or big to pass the equal money vaule onto Macmillan Nurses. I dont mean to sound ungrafeful in anyway and dont want to presume people would buy me a gift.
This may come as a shock to some of you as you will know I like a gift and can be a bit of a spoilt cow at times, ahem! but hopefully that will show what a big thing this is to me.
I hope you will all support me in this as I have also decided that I will be donating money that I would of normally spent on gifts for other people to Macmillan this year. That way I or anyone else shouldn't feel guilty recieving or giving a gift to or from me.
All money raised will be passed on to Macmillan Nurses in memory of Amy.
Thank you all in advance, and look forward raising festive drink or three over the christmas to Amy!
