Story
On a cold and drizzly Sunday morning on the 5th of February, Emma Weedon and Katie Laurence will be on a 10km run across the mean streets of London town...
It may not be a marathon, but then again it might as well be for the two of us. Running for the bus is hard, running around Peckham Rye is even harder, running 10km at the beginning of February? I don't really know what we're thinking...
Training will keep us warm in the winter months and hopefully mean that the mince pies won't leave a lasting effect.
In the end, it is all for a good cause. CRUK is a world leading charity which works tirelessly to end cancer and help people affected by the disease. Everyone is affected by cancer. Be it personally or not, it leaves an impression on us all. And if Emma and I can run a little and raise a lot so that in the future less people are affected, then it's worth putting on those running shoes.
Please donate anything you can.
