Event: Wye Valley Mighty Hike 2024 - full marathon, on 7 September 2024
In September 2024, we're hiking a half or full marathon along the beautiful Wye Valley to raise vital funds for people living with cancer.

Story

On the 7th September I will be walking a marathon for MacMillan Cancer Support. Part of the Mighty Hike event, our mum team will be walking along the Wye Valley and raising funds with for people living with cancer, which is a cause very close to my heart.

I’m slightly nervous given that a recent calf tear has scuppered any helpful training, whoops! But am hoping that the rest of girls, your support and some sugar based snacks will help me get to the finish!

I am aiming to raise £250 and would appreciate any support in reaching this.

By fundraising my pledge, I could pay for a Macmillan Support Worker for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
