Story
I am taking part in this event in memory of Callum McNulty. Callum is the son of Alan Sinclair, a colleague of mine at Jersey Water.
Callum tragically passed away at 18 years of age. Callum was just 14 when he was first diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma. He was rushed to Southampton for emergency surgery and intensive chemotherapy, after which the family went to Germany for proton therapy. Callum made a full recovery, with intensive physiotherapy to learn to walk again. However, after 18 months in remission, the cancer returned and tragically it was only a matter of months before Callum sadly passed away.
A skydive was on Callum's bucket list so, Alan came up with a great idea for his colleagues to get together and raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust Jersey Appeal by doing a skydive in his son's memory.
Therefore, Alan, myself, and other colleagues will be skydiving over Jersey on 15th July 2023, nearly one year to the day since his son passed away.
We thank everyone for supporting this fundraising event.
Teenage Cancer Trust Jersey Appeal is also Jersey Water's Chosen Charity for 2023.
