Story
This November I’ll be climbing (or crawling) up the stairs of one of London’s most iconic buildings in order to raise money and awareness of an amazing charity – The Felix Project.
The Felix Project rescue high quality nutritious food (including fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods, salads, meat and fish) from over 539 suppliers, including supermarkets, wholesalers, farms, restaurants and delis that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste. This is all then sorted and delivered to almost 1000 front-line charities, primary schools and holiday programmes in London.
At a time where 4.7 million adults in the United Kingdom struggle to afford to eat every day and 2 million children are at risk of missing their next meal, The Felix Project ensure that food that would have ordinarily gone to waste is reaching the most vulnerable and those who simply cannot afford to buy regular, healthy food.
I’ve set up a just giving page for those keen to sponsor – with any and all donations incredibly welcome.
