We fight for hospice care to support all who need it, now and forever

Story

In just 4 short months on the 26th April 2015 40000 enthusiastic runners will be at the start line of the 26.2 mile course of the Virgin London Marathon. Competition to enter this event is now fierce and 120000 people entered their names in this years ballot for places which closed after only 10 hours. I feel really lucky to be part of this event and to be running for the Hospice UK team.

Hospice UK's aim is to make sure that everyone with a life-limiting or terminal condition gets the very best care.

Collectively hospices in the UK care for around 360,000 people every year, and Hospice UK work closely with them to support their vital work and to create a stronger voice for hospice care. They also support the development of hospice and palliative care worldwide.

I have pledged to raise £2000 for this amazing charity which is a huge target and is why I am going to need your help to get there.
