On Friday 19^th October 2018, I will be flying to Tanzania in the attempt to climb Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. I will be taking the Machame route and returning on 28^th October (I hope!). I appreciate this is a little ambitious, but no fear, in preparation, I will be tackling Mount Snowdon on an over night camping trek on 2^nd and 3^rd June, as well as other training weekends.

I am taking on this challenge in the hope to raise money for Make-A-Wish, the charity that exists for one reason - to grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Whether it’s starring in their own film, walking with dinosaurs, going on an amazing holiday or meeting a celebrity hero; their wishes are varied, personal and, most importantly, life-changing! 

Throughout my time working on-board Disney Cruise Line, I was privileged enough to meet many families during their Make-A-Wish experience and have witnessed first hand the incredible work this charity does to give young lives wonder, joy and hope.

My target is to raise £2500 by the first week of July. I have paid for the cost of the trip, meaning every donation will go to Make-A-Wish.
