I’m getting a bit pissed off with the fact that brain cancer KILLS MORE CHILDREN THAN ANY OTHER TYPE OF CANCER yet nobody really knows anything about it and it gets virtually no funding. 

If we don’t start doing something about this now, we’re going to keep losing more and more amazing children because we can’t be bothered to put money into researching new treatments. 

Brain cancer is harder to treat than most other cancers. It requires very specific research and, as such, other blanket research into cancer just doesn’t have an impact on brain cancer. Nothing really works at the moment. It’s incurable. 

I’m most likely going to die of a brain tumour some time in the next 10 years. This research is not going to help me. BUT it might help some kids in the future and I’ll feel proud on my death bed that I'll have played a part in trying to help save someone else’s child from such a cruel disease. 

Please help me to fund research into finding a cure! 

P.S. Those scissors in my head are not real... just in case anyone thought the NHS had really done that to me. It’s just for the giggles.
