On the 21st July 2013 we will both be taking part in the Manchester 5K Colour Run to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research UK and Stand Up to Cancer. 

It will be 10 years this year since Katie lost her beloved Grandad to Cancer. She had been thinking of ways to mark this event in remeberance of Graham, when Laura suggested taking part in the colour run. This event couldn't be more fitting - as Graham always loved a good party!

The Color Run™, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique color race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community. Less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life, The Color Run is a five-kilometre, un-timed race in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometre. The fun continues at the finish line with a gigantic “Color Festival,” using more colored powder to create happiness and lasting memories, not to mention millions of vivid color combinations. Trust us, this is the best post-5k party on the planet!

The Color Run also focuses on giving back, and we have partnered with Stand Up to Cancer, to help drive the fight against cancer.
