Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In June I am challenging myself to do something COMPLETELY out of my comfort zone... I will be will be doing an abseil off the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth!

The event is raising money for a charity called Friends of PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) at Southampton Hospital.

My closest friends and family will know why this is dear to my heart but for those of you that don't I will briefly explain...

When I was admitted to hospital to be induced at 37 weeks pregnant I was in a bed next to a couple who Scott & I hit it off with immediately. I knew I liked Laura from the moment we met due to her positivity (and friendly smile!)
We both had the same due date, we were both having girls and our babies ended up being born within hours of each other.
Laura & Haydn's baby girl Meisee was not very well and had to undergo heart surgery. Devastatingly she died at only 20days old.
Laura & Haydn have always said if it wasn't for PICU they wouldn't have had as much time with Meisee as they did.

Please help me to raise money for this wonderful cause xx
