Story
This September I will be taking part in walking 21 miles in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk. I have chosen Lifecare Edinburgh as my charity in recognition of all the help and support the St Bernard’s Club (in Lifecare Stockbridge) has given to my Granny, who suffers from dementia, over the past few years.. My Grandad, who also suffered from dementia and passed away in 2017, also attended the club for a period of time. Lots of fun times have been had by both of them at the club.
This is to raise money for a charity that has helped provide support to all of my family and for them to be able to keep up the amazing work that they do and to enable them to be able to continue helping many more families! Any donations are appreciated x
LifeCare has a proud history of supporting local older people across Edinburgh for over 80 years. Our charity's vision is a city where no older person is alone or isolated, where they can thrive, and are active members of their communities. Our mission is to ensure that every older person receives the best possible care, companionship, and advice they need to live well and independently in their own homes for longer.
