We are East Anglian Air Ambulance. A charity providing lifesaving critical care, 24/7, every day of the year across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Whether by air or road, we’re there for the most seriously ill and injured, when every second counts.

Story

On the 17th April 2021 it will be 5 years since I lost my dad. It was the worst experience of my life and still hurts me every single day. He was the best dad I could have ever asked for and I’m so grateful I had him for 15 years. Although he was taken from us far too soon I find peace knowing he is no longer in pain. At the end of his life he was looked after by the amazing team at the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Since he passed I’ve visited the crew who helped and I’ve gone on memory walks arranged by the East Anglian Air Ambulance. They are a fantastic charity and need as much support as possible. Since my dad is buried in Ramsey, and because of COVID rules, I am unable to go to his grave on the 5th anniversary so instead I’m going to do something positive and try to raise some money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. So my mum, brother, grandad, Meg, Tim and I are going to be walking 12 miles on the day. I know 12 miles doesn’t seem much, but for me it will be a struggle due to my illness, so I really would appreciate any support offered.
