Story

I'm running the Great North Run for #TeamStroke! There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year.

My Dad suffered from a Stroke shortly after my Mum died 4 years ago. Luckily my Dad recovered quickly and fully after this, not everyone is as lucky. Our family has also had a few more links to Stroke over the last few years. I’d like to raise money to help those in need and their families too.

That's one stroke every five minutes.Stroke Association believes everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. Your support will help them to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments. Help me raise as much as possible to help rebuild lives after stroke - thank you!
