Story

Nearly four years ago in March 2012 just after celebrating her 10th birthday, beautiful little Ella was diagnosed with a very rare and highly aggressive form of brain cancer. That was the moment Ella’s and her family’s world fell apart. With everything against her and an impossibly tough road ahead, Ella was inspirational and fought with all her might to beat this terrible disease. I have never seen a little girl so full of determination, grace, and dignity in the face of such adversity and always with a smile on her face.

Sadly after a truly courageous battle, Ella lost her fight on 7th September 2013.

I am very proud to be running the Bath half marathon for Ella to help her memory and amazing spirit live on so that through her suffering others who are battling this awful disease will have a better chance of getting well again.  The Brain Tumour Charity does fantastic work funding medical research and giving support to those affected by brain tumours and I hope you can help me fundraise even just a little bit to make a difference.

Thank you.
