Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am attempting to run/jog the whole of the 5K beating my personal best of 43 minutes on my last 5K.

This is something that I never thought was possible two years when I was a size 26 and severely over weight. Now I am enjoying exercise and enjoying the new challenges my weight loss journey is sending me on.

The reason I have chose Parkinson's UK is because sadly my fantastic father-in-law suffers with this illness. John is an amazing man that never moans or groans about life and gets on with every day tasks as well as always being there for everyone else. Parkinson's is an amazing cause that supports people daily and rely on donations from people so I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible as well as doing something amazing for myself and my own journey.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you all for your continued support

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
