Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

Many of you will know that my beloved grandparents - Nannie and Grandpops - have Alzheimer’s / dementia. It has been a heartbreaking time for them and my family to see how this cruel disease affects them every day. More funding is needed for research into dementia as it really does affect so many people. It’s not just a case of becoming “a bit forgetful”… if only it were.

This is a cause very close to my heart, so I’ve decided I’d like to raise some much needed funds for Alzheimer’s Society by throwing myself out of an airplane at 15,000 feet. I mean, what could go wrong?!

I’ve chosen to take the plunge in Lancaster where much of my childhood was spent with Nannie and Grandpops. I have lots of fond memories of spending summer holidays and half terms with them there and they honestly were some of the best times of my life ❤️ I’m so grateful to them both for everything they’ve done for me and this is just something I want to do to give something back.
