Story
After much consideration I have decided its time I took the bull by the horns and raise money for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
There have been too many things in the last year that have affected those close to us and I feel it can't be ignored any longer. In these awful situations, one feels completely helpless and at a loss of how to make the best of such tragic circumstances. After losing my own darling mum to cancer I understand completely how illness and loss can affect a family and how soul destroying it can be to watch somebody you adore suffer. I only hope and pray that I don't ever have to endure what some of our friends and loved ones are going through now. Every child is important and deserves the very best chances in life but I speak specifically of three little girls close to our hearts, Amelie, Ellie and lizzy. All three of these little girls show amazing courage and strength and literally astound me for their huge capacity for life. I can't allow myself to even imagine how difficult it must be for their parents as their lives are stricken with worry for their very precious princesses!
Anyway I have set myself a huge target of twenty thousand pounds as Great Ormond Street has to raise at least 50 million a year. I am running, cake baking, dog walking and most importantly holding a ball in May. Whatever you can do to help me hit my target will be massively appreciated, whether it's just sponsoring my run, baking a cake or buying a ticket to the ball.
Please, please do what you can to help me. It will make a massive difference to people's lives. We all take it for granted to have healthy children and often forget how very lucky we are. I really do appreciate your support.
