Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you who know me know that my darling nephew Callum died from the disease Spinal Muscular Atrophy in November 2015 aged 5 and a half months old. The day of his diagnosis was the day the bottom fell out of my brother and sister-in-law's world. To be told your child has a disease that there is no cure for must surely be the cruelest of statements.

Callum, Andrew, Jodi and Abbie were shown such loyal and personal support from this small charity. I have been selected to walk across the new Queensferry Crossing and while at 1.7km it's hardly a strenuous test of my physicality, it's more about giving a wee something back to show gratitude and help another family.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
