Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 24th June I will be taking on the challenge of the ‘Great Nottinghamshire Bike Ride’. There are 5 different routes for this and I have chosen to challenge myself to the 50 mile race.
I have chosen to raise money for the NUH Youth Service section of Nottingham University Hospitals Charity. Please let me take the time to tell you why...
In January this year, my wife Donna was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Due to invasive surgery and 5 months of Chemotherapy Donna will no longer be able to join me on the ride.
Donna had initially chosen to do the bike ride to raise money for ‘NUH Youth Service’ to celebrate their 20th year of service for Young People who have Chronic Health conditions or Disabilities.
NUH Youth Service was established, by Donna in 1998 and continues to provide essential youth work support to young people accessing health services.
You can find out more about the youth service at this link

It would be very appreciated if you could spare some pennies...it might actually get me round the 50 miles course
Miles of Smiles and shed loads of love
