A great family friend, Chris McQuade sadly passed away earlier this year following a short and difficult battle with cancer. During her illness, she spent some time at the Lindsey Lodge Hospice in Scunthorpe where she received treatment for her symptoms. The Hospice provided Chris with support, reassurance, medical and holistic therapies to ensure that Chris was made as comfortable as possible, given the aggressive nature of her illness.

We will all miss Chris dearly, such inner strength and courage she had, what an inspiration to us all.

Please donate any spare change in aid of the Hospices to help them continue the superior service they provide across the country.... and I will run my little legs off for 13 miles around the Great North for your good will.
