This month, as part of LATA Foundation's #Peru25for25 some of the team at LOTUS are setting their own individual targets to walk or run 25 miles (the length of the Inca Trail) to raise money for Inca Trail porters, who, due to COVID-19 have had no income or government support since March 2020. I trekked the Inca Trail in 2006 but I couldn't have done it without the incredible porters.
Just £25 would buy an essential food parcel for a porter and their family for one month, but any amount, however small will make a huge difference.

Running has been my go-to exercise for the past year - as much for my my mental health as physical health. It's given me much needed headspace as well as time outside of my home. I'm so fortunate to live somewhere surrounded by open space and have discovered so much more of it in the past 12 months. I'm setting myself a possibly over-ambitious target of 25 miles per week... I might regret this.
