Story
Wilson is a child who is supported by KISS in Uganda. He is 12 years old and lives in the town of Sixteen near Kasambya. Wilson is an example of one of many children supported by KISS who has to walk for over 2 and a half hours to reach the KISS Site.
Some children walk this distance every day in high temperatures and across difficult terrain, in order to access education, medical care and the community support that they need. Some of these children carry younger siblings, or help neighbours with disabilities to reach the site safely.
We wanted to raise awareness of the lives of some of the children KISS supports and to raise much needed funds for the incredible work that KISS does.
As a team, we will be walking to work, whatever the weather, whatever the distance from home.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
