I work in the Wessex Kidney Centre,  in QA Hospital, Portsmouth, looking after people with kidney disease and those needing dialysis or a kidney transplant.

To fundraise for this service, over the past year I have aimed to run 100 miles of road race in the towns and cities in the region, starting on November 19th 2017, with the Gosport Half Marathon(13miles) and the Portsmouth Santa Run in December (10m)

So far in 2018, I have run the Portsmouth Coastal Half (13m), Southampton Half (13m), Hayling Billy Trail (6 m), Ryde 10k (6m)  Salisbury Half (13m), a Half Marathon (13m) near my home (in place of the cancelled Bath Half, due to the Beast from the East!).

That's 87 miles so far!

I'll be back in Portsmouth for the Great South Run (10m) in October 2018 and finish off where I started in Gosport for the last 13 miles, bringing the grand total up to 110 miles.
