You think I might have learnt my lesson last time around but no, here I am again, hoping to get round 26.2 miles of marathon course....!! 

Training is going ok, few aches and pains but hopefully I will get to the start line and we will see what happens after that!!

This year I am raising money for a really good local project....The Teenage Cancer Trust are trying to raise enough money to open one of their units at the Western General Hospital.

I have a very personal reason for choosing this charity as last summer my 17 year old son had a lump removed from his parotid gland and it turned out to be cancerous.  He doesn't need any further treatment as the surgery was successful but if he had needed treatment I would have wanted him to have access to a TCT unit. 

Every teenager should have the best facilities available to them and with your help we can make this happen in Edinburgh.

I know it’s the credit crunch (ouch!) but please support me and the TCT by giving what you can as every penny helps……:o)
