Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. The North Tandridge District Nursing Team as part of First Community Health and Care are fundraising for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley; a local charity with a big ambition.
Our team are undertaking a 'GP Crawl' on October 6th across Caterham, Whyteleafe and Warlingham covering the 6 surgeries we support in our area of North Tandridge. We will be starting at Townhill Medical Practice moving along to Chaldon Road Surgery and then down to Caterham Valley Medical Practice. We will then be walking along Croydon road to Whyteleafe Surgery where we will then attempt to walk up a big hill to Warlingham Green Medical Practice and then continue along Limpsfield Road finishing at Elizabeth House Medical Practice.
This is a huge challenge for our team with a mix of ages and abilities but we wanted to spend a day together raising awareness of district nursing as well as raising money for St. Catherines who support the team by collaboratively working alongside us in First Community Health and Care and the GPs to ensure patients and their families wishes are met at the end of their lives.
St Catherine’s have a vision for a world where everyone facing death and bereavement can do so informed, supported and pain free. Their team of experts are there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when they need support the most, and they rely on donations to be able to offer their pioneering care.
Please donate today and show your support to your District Nurses and help St Catherine’s be there for people when life comes full circle.
