Story
Most of you reading this page will be living in Swindon and will have heard of the Prospect Hospice. You will also be aware of the amazing work it does in supporting the cancer patients and their families in Swindon and the surrounding area.
What you won't be aware of is that one day you, or someone you know, is likely to need their help and support.
In some respects, the Prospect Hospice is like that old winter coat: you know it's there, but you forget all about it until it gets cold, and you need it.
All I'm saying, is don't take it for granted. One day you may need to use it's services, and wouldn't it be awful if it wasn't there?
The Prospect is an incredible place, and gives wonderful and much needed support to everyone who needs it. It relies totally on donations and needs to raise over £5million each year to continue its services.
Please don't let us lose it.
My amazing and brave mum had an incredibly short battle with a very aggressive cancer, and sadly passed away in March. I want to honour mum's memory by giving something back. Please sponsor me to do the 15km Starlight Walk in her memory, and help to give thanks for their unselfish work.
Thank you - and don't forget to gift aid it.
