We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.

Story

Hello, and thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  It's the big one - yes, I'm running the London Marathon!

My dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease 10 years ago, and alongside family and friends have seen his health decline during this time.  It's become more difficult, if not impossible for him to do to the things he enjoys (although there was some relief at him giving up playing the bassoon!).  Because he finds himself unable to move at times, I shall start running and hopefully keep going long enough one Sunday morning in April to complete the London Marathon.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
