RBC Brewin Dolphin Nottingham are raising funds for Maggie's Nottingham as our nominated charity partner.

I have the opportunity to do a Firewalk in February which is also the month I turn 50. So instead of gifts that I don't really need I wanted to ask people to donate to this good cause whilst I take up a challenge that is so completely out of my comfort zone!

Maggies valuable work supports people with cancer and their family and friends. They can simply walk-in to Maggies for immediate help and advice from the small team of professionals, including nurses, psychologists and benefit advisors.

Every pound makes a difference. Everything at Maggies is funded by the local community. Every £30 we raise will help one person access the cancer support they need.

This is for those around me who have suffered or are suffering from cancer, knowing how important this kind of support is.
