This year's "seemed like a good idea at the time" event is going to be swimming a mile in Windermere with lots of other nutters! I am going to be doing the Great North Swim at 10.30 on Saturday morning. 

I know I have asked people for money for lots of good causes before but this year is the turn of Macmillan. 

I'd like to support the charity due to their fantastic work supporting cancer patients and their families.
