Duncan and I are taking part in Kevin Green’s Challenge to climb Mt Faber iin Singapore today to raise funds for the unpaid carers that Carers Trust supports. It’s an exciting challenge for a great cause and we really appreciate any donation however small - every penny, dirham or dollar helps.

Carers Trust supports more than 500,000 unpaid carers, including over 25,000 young carers, who are caring - unpaid -for a husband, father, mother, son or daughter because they have a serious mental or physical illness, disability or problems with drugs or alcohol abuse. With Carers Trust network of 150 services around the UK, they provide information, advice, grants for those in hardship, respite breaks, and other support for carers who may be as young as 4 or in their 90s.

Kevin Green has pledged that his challenge will raise £40,000 for Carers Trust to support the work Carer's Trust do with and for carers.
