Story

I'm hosting a World IBD Day Virtual Coffee  week for Crohns & Colitis UK from Monday the 18th May. World IBD Day sees organisations all over the world come together to raise awareness and generate funds for people affected by Crohns and Colitis.

I am the Advanced IBD Clinical Nurse Specialist at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. I work alongside two fab IBD nurse specialists and a wonderful IBD team. Together we deliver quality IBD care for over 1500 patients in North Derbyshire. CCUK are pivotal when it comes to the care we deliver. They provide an excellent service for all with IBD and all us IBD nurses, doctor's, surgeon's, GP's and all involved with those caring for those with IBD.

I want to raise awareness of IBD, CCUK and help to support patient's and the charity.

I love my job, feel privedged to be an IBD nurse and know I make a huge difference to patients lives. CCUK are part of the journey we take with patients. My virtual cuppa week is for them, all who work at CCUK, all the amazing IBD nurses out there and the wonderful, inspiring people living with IBD.

Thank you all 😘
