I am running for a local charity, Martin House Children's Hospice, who look after terminally ill and sick children. My children play for a local junior football club and following some sponsorship we received last year, the sponsors suggested we put a local charity on the front of the match kits, rather than their Company name. We chose Martin House Children Hospice as we all realise how lucky we are having fit and healthy children and wanted to do our bit to help those less fortunate. This year four parents (including myself) decided to enter the Great North Run to raise money for this worthwhile cause. I hope you can also help by donating today.
