Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This June I'm taking on the challenge of the Cancer Focus Mourne Seven Summits. This is a fundraiser for local cancer research at Queen’s University Belfast, an important cause to me as my Mum passed away from Breast Cancer last year.
This (very long hike!) involves climbing to the summit of all seven peaks in the Mourne Mountains, Co.Down that are 700m or more above sea level. This includes:
Slieve Donard 850m, Slieve Commedagh 765m, Slieve Bernagh 727m, Slieve Meelmore 704m, Slieve Meelberg 708m, Slieve Binnian 747m, Slieve Lamagan 704m.
My Dad and myself are regular mourne walkers but this 31km hike will be a massive challenge for us as we normally do 1 or 2 in the one sitting!
Any help would be much appreciated!
