I am not and never will be your typical runner, however after watching so many inspiring stories From marathon runners I feel it’s time to set myself another challenge and maybe raise a little bit at the same time.
Many know that Nikki was a very good friend of mine and still find moments since she died hard to get through and have found running (albeit quite slow!) a way to get through a lot of stress and anxiety that has built up.
My challenge to myself isn’t to raise a huge amount of money but to run over the next 12 months 20 vitality park runs. I am going to try and do this in as many different locations as my chauffeur (james) will allow and will add up to 100km in total and 62 Miles (more than 2 marathons!)
My aim is to complete this within the year. I have to allow for the fact I am no athelete but also with this weekends I can’t do because of work etc..
It will not include the 8 runs already done this year.
