Story
I am running the York Marathon on 8th October in memory of my dad Brian who we lost in March this year to Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer that currently has no cure.
I have been training hard, determined to beat the time I did at the Paris marathon in 2005 pre-children (4:34) and hopefully raise some money at the same time to help in finding a cure for this brutal and unforgiving cancer.
My dad ran the London Marathon 1987 and I would go running with him whenever we got a chance. He coached me and encouraged me with my running as he did with every sport I attempted (his Javelin coaching was not particularly successful).
I am running York with my two sisters - we have a family fundraising page linked to mine that will track our overall total.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.
